When adding a new shipping party which is a pickup or delivery location for your shipments, we need to know if there is a loading dock (see description below) on site.

If there is no loading dock, we may need to rent a lift gate (see description below) for the truck that will deliver your goods.

Loading Dock

An area in the building in which trucks can load or unload goods.

Liftgate

It is a piece of hydraulic (sometimes electric) equipment that installs on the rear of a truck which enables freight to be lifted from the ground to the height of the truck’s tailgate, or from the tailgate to the ground.
